Thermofoil

Thermofoil technology and demand for quality thermofoil products continue to grow. We are committed to excellence in this technology and offer a wide variety of styles and colors to satisfy every taste with many accessories to go along.

Our doors are made from the finest Medium Density Fiberboard (MDF) available that are shaped with unique tooling on CNC routers. Components are then sanded and the core is carefully inspected to assure materials and machining meet prescribed specifications. The thermofoil or film (ranging from 8 mil to 30 mil in thickness) is then membrane-pressed on to the doors, drawer fronts, and accessories. A routine sampling process assures proper heat resistance on the face and edges.

All KCC Thermofoil products exceed KCMA specifications. The KCMA standard for heat resistance requires that doors withstand 24 hours and 120 degrees Fahrenheit and 70% humidity without showing discoloration, blistering, or other film failure. All KCC doors and drawer fronts exceed this standard.
